Model / Boudoir Photoshoots

Professional photoshoots are becoming more and more popular at the moment.

Like many women we always think we are not slim enough or beautiful enough but it is for your photographer to bring out your beauty, to make you shine. A little photoshop also never hurts. If the celebrities can, why can't we?

Before arriving at the studio you should decide on the kind of theme you would like, fashion, fun, vintage, glam or boudoir.

If you have decided on a shoot with friends try and co-ordinate the theme. Having a photoshoot with friends also relaxes you.

Bright colours come out really well against the white studio backdrop, so try to avoid white, or pastel colours. Bring a couple of different outfits.

Accessories should also be bigger and bolder than what you would wear in real life. The shoot is all about fun. Be playful!

Boudoir shoots have also become a firm favourite with the ladies as gifts for their partners. It could be a bride to be who wants a wedding present for her husband or it could be an anniversary present. Sometims for no other reason other than "I feel good!" These shoots make great coffee table books.

Posing is probably the bit most people are nervous about. It's difficult to know what looks good and what looks unnatural when you're under the bright lights.
I will be able to tell you what to do and what works, but it's also a good idea to have brainstormed a few potential shots before your shoot. Magazines are always a good reference. Even bring along some pictures. Some of your best photos will be spur of the moment ideas.

The most important thing is that you have fun , this will reflect well in your photographs.
Book and I will be Shooting you soon!
